If you’re anything like me, you might struggle with the idea of change. Many people do. Come to think of it, I don’t know anyone in my personal life who really welcomes change. I do however, have more than a few acquaintances who despise change so much they can make themselves sick over it. And for good reason. Change is a really difficult part of life. But it’s inevitable, so it’s necessary … [Read more...]
I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead
I’ve recently been thinking a great deal about sleep, or to be more specific, my lack thereof. I definitely struggle with getting enough shuteye. My ideal nocturnal picture looks like this: I’m asleep by 10:30pm and awake by 6:30am. Except this happens MAYBE once a month (and that’s a good month). Stop Setting Yourself Up For Disappointment
You know that thing we do when we tell ourselves over and over again, “I’ll be happy when…”? I’ve been thinking … [Read more...]

What a beautiful way to define a word that very often has a negative connotation. Calling someone “insane” has all too commonly been associated with mental instability. I’ve been thinking about routine … [Read more...]
Sentenced to Life: The Status Quo
I know, it’s scary. The unknown. The notorious “other side” of the fence. Is the grass really greener over there? What if it’s not? What if it turns out to be the exact same shade as this grass? What if it’s just a cement patio? What if it’s pretending to be grass but it’s really astro turf? What if. I’ve always been someone who’s been a little curious. Ok sure, a lot curious. But so what, … [Read more...]
You at Your Most
When I had the idea to start my blog, I wanted it to be a lifestyle/health/wellness/empowering/honest space where people could learn, be inspired, and laugh with/at me. I felt a lot of pressure to define which one thing I wanted to accomplish. Then I took a deep breath and realized that’s ok, because that’s sort of my thing. I’m all over the place. (I mean look at all those slashes in the … [Read more...]
